ARCHITECT, Certified Access Specialist, BUSINESS OWNER

Hi, I'm Lewis R. Springer, III, the owner of LRS...Architecture. I started this business so I could do what I love from home while raising my family. For the past 18 years, I've had the privilege of practicing architecture: designing homes, helping business owners, and improving accessibility across California. At the same time, picking kids up from tennis or speech and debate and now hanging out with my grandsons or meeting my adult kids at the gym or golf course.

Our goal here is to create a better built environment. We identify and create solutions to remove architectural barriers. This helps more people enjoy their lives, while at the same time helps protect your business. As a small business owner, I know how long the list of stresses is that come with running a company and the added fear of dealing with a lawsuit for an accessibility issue shouldn't be added to the list.

Serve the Corporate RE Industry---- Provide for the disabled

In 2012, a perfect storm of events led me to become a Certified Access Specialist. I had friends being sued and one of my favorite restaurants in Folsom closed down because of an access suit. I also had the opportunity to work with a friend and fellow architect to survey all the county buildings in Placer County- which showed me how many compliance issues existed. All this while my good friend was fighting brain cancer. Her surgery left her paralyzed on one side and struggling with mobility. When I had to assist her into the bathroom at her physical therapist office, I knew I needed to find a way to bridge the gap between business owners and disabled patrons.
